Ballarat Community Health
Based upon biophilic design principles with landscape being woven into the building, this health clinic champions the benefits and intrinsic link between nature, health and well-being.
Located north west of the Ballarat West growth corridor, the facility has a full suite of on-site medical services, office facilities for over 100 staff, a gym, café, conference, meeting and event spaces for community use.
The landscape narrative references the agricultural hinterland and includes a central landscape spine culminating in a central garden atrium. Externally, a therapeutic produvctive garden, breakout spaces, and outdoor exercise area interconnect with the surrounding parkland setting.The project was undertaken in close collaboration with Architects DesignInc, who have received the following awards for the project:

• Regional Prize, Australian Institute of Architects (VIC) 2015
