Martin Reeves


Combining the practical with a highly creative design approach, Martin directs a collaborative, informed and spirited design office.  

Martin balances a strong background in environmental and natural resource management with experience on large construction sites, urban regeneration and infrastructure works.   

Considering how we can best inhabit our shared cultural environments is a fundamental aspect of his work as a Landscape Architect.

Martin is co-chair of the AILA Victoria Advocacy Committee for 2013/14.  He is working on the Street14 competition and a responce to the Melbourne Plan 2050.

Damon Obst


Damon has a broad range of private and public sector experience within Australia and overseas. He applies his considerable experience across complex urban design, natural and infrastructure projects.

His design approach is governed by a commitment to progressive environmental and social outcomes through all scales of work, from precinct master planning to custom street furniture. Damon employs stong leadership in conceptual design thinking and the strategic direction of the office.

Peter Wilson

Senior Landscape Architect

Peter has a wide range of experience on public a private sector projects. While working at the City of Casey, he developed a strong appreciation of the challenges of public realm projects from concept and consultation through to construction and on going place management.

Peter has a keen interest in sustainable design practice, integration of art and landscape architecture, WSUD and native planting design. His science background gives him a strong understanding of ecology and landscape systems.

Peter is currently undertaking a mentorship to become an AILA registered landscape architect.

Kate Douglas

Senior Architect

Kate’s experience has been in design-focused architectural practices where the detail is as important as the spirit behind the very first concept.

She is particularly interested in public realm design that speaks to the community, either directly through a consultation process, or via the end experience of material and place.

Nick Stephenson

As a registered Architect, Nick has worked on a broad range of projects from residential commissions to complex institutional buildings. The common thread in his approach across all projects is one of inventiveness and a commitment to environmental awareness.

Dylan Cuthers

Dave Bailey

landscape architect

As a registered landscape architect, Dave has been engaged in the design of residential subdivision, infrastructure, streetscape and educational projects within both the public and private realm across Australia. His passion for best practice horticultural design is apparent in the value he places on appropriate use of plants, a skill cultivated during his time working in landscape construction and maintenance.

Simon Meade

Landscape Architect

After completing his Bachelor of Landscape Architecture at RMIT University, Simon undertook his Masters of Landscape Architecture, following a year of working within the industry.

Through his studies and experience in private practice Simon brings a passion for technical detail and site specific design which is developed through community consultation. Simon also has a keen interest for process driven design and understanding the complex systems which appear within the landscape.   

Phil Smith

Landscape Architect


Phil has an extensive history in nursery, landscape and public amenity horticulture. His interest in urban ecology, permaculture and connection to land led to a career in Landscape Architecture. Phil studied and worked in the Netherlands, fostering and interest in water management and design and how landscapes work as a ecological and social space. His work looks to increase human connection to landscape and ecology.
Phil has taught and worked at RMIT, Melbourne Uni and Delft Technical University (Netherlands). Phil is an AILA registered landscape architect.




Cathryn Kohn

Landscape Architect

Cathryn began her landscape architecture career in Melbourne in 1999 after completing her degree in Perth and has been based in Melbourne ever since.  Whilst maintaining her ‘other’ career as a musician, she has attained a wealth of experience from her work on many landscape architecture and urban design projects. With a passion for Sustainable Design that began with conservation work in her youth, Cathryn carries through these beliefs in her design and documentation work at Outlines.

Sarah Ryan

Landscape Architect

Sarah completed her Bachelor of Landscape Architecture at the University of Western Australia in 2006 and began her Melbourne career at Outlines in 2012.

Through both her studies and experience in private practice Sarah brings to her position a desire to create innovative and environmentally responsible design solutions which are site specific, functional and ecologically sustainable. Sarah also has a keen interest in natural systems and the diverse flora of Australia.

Sarah is currently undertaking a Master of Environment at Univeristy of Melbourne.

Working since 2010 as a landscape architect, Ben has gained experience across a wide range of civic, educational, masterplanning and residential projects. Tech Ooi
