DirectorCombining the practical with a highly creative design approach, Martin directs a collaborative, informed and spirited design office.
Martin balances a strong background in environmental and natural resource management with experience on large construction sites, urban regeneration and infrastructure works.
Considering how we can best inhabit our shared cultural environments is a fundamental aspect of his work as a Landscape Architect.
Martin is co-chair of the AILA Victoria Advocacy Committee for 2013/14. He is working on the Street14 competition and a responce to the Melbourne Plan 2050.

DirectorDamon has a broad range of private and public sector experience within Australia and overseas. He applies his considerable experience across complex urban design, natural and infrastructure projects.
His design approach is governed by a commitment to progressive environmental and social outcomes through all scales of work, from precinct master planning to custom street furniture. Damon employs stong leadership in conceptual design thinking and the strategic direction of the office.

Landscape ArchitectAs a registered landscape architect, Dave has been engaged in the design of residential subdivision, infrastructure, streetscape and educational projects within both the public and private realm across Australia. His passion for best practice horticultural design is apparent in the value he places on appropriate use of plants, a skill cultivated during his time working in landscape construction and maintenance.

Landscape Architect
Sarah completed her Bachelor of Landscape Architecture at the University of Western Australia in 2006 and began her Melbourne career at Outlines in 2012.
Through both her studies and experience in private practice Sarah brings to her position a desire to create innovative and environmentally responsible design solutions which are site specific, functional and ecologically sustainable. Sarah also has a keen interest in natural systems and the diverse flora of Australia.
Sarah is currently undertaking a Master of Environment at Univeristy of Melbourne.

Michelle Fan
Senior Landscape Architect
Michelle is experienced with projects on sensitive sites involving heritage, environmental overlays and revegetation. Project types which she has worked on over the years range from childcare, public realm, education, commercial, private residential, and residential developments, covering various stages from concept, master planning, town planning, documentation, contract administration to presentation graphics.
She is particularly motivated by projects which serve the broader community with a social agenda. She enjoys applying environmentally sustainable principles to support the design and together with a pragmatic approach to detailing, she seeks to deliver an enduring design aesthetic. She is also interested in exploring biomimicry in projects, and revealing the natural processes of the environment to educate the community. Michelle values a collaborative approach to projects with diverse consultants and individual specialists to deliver a strong and unique outcome.

Cathryn Kohn
Landscape ArchitectCathryn began her landscape architecture career in Melbourne in 1999 after completing her degree in Perth and has been based in Melbourne ever since. Whilst maintaining her ‘other’ career as a musician, she has attained a wealth of experience from her work on many landscape architecture and urban design projects. With a passion for Sustainable Design that began with conservation work in her youth, Cathryn carries through these beliefs in her design and documentation work at Outlines.

Landscape ArchitectNicole completed her Bachelor of Landscape Architecture (Honours) in 2010 from the University of Western Australia. Since then Nicole has worked in a variety of firms with different focuses including residential, childcare and public/urban realm. Nicole also had her design chosen as a finalist and constructed for the Boutique Gardens Competition at the Melbourne International Garden and Flower Show 2015
Nicole has extensive background in childcare; playspace and park design. She also has a strong interest (and involvement) in Land Art

Monique Holmes
Landscape ArchitectAfter completing her Bachelor of Landscape Architectural Design from RMIT University in 2016, Monique worked in the field of Landscape Design. An interest in landscape processes and their greater effects within the landscape influenced her design work in range of studios she completed throughout University. An interest in plants and horticulture has lead her to further her knowledge and education in a Diploma of Horticulture. Monique commenced work at Outlines in 2017 as a Graduate Landscape Architect.
